I don't know what title this, but I had a great day at the park 📸

Hi! This is a little experiment where I’ll publish the same post in Portuguese and English and see how it goes. I’ve seen a lot of Brazilian bloggers here on Bear and wanted to join in.
My friend and I had a really cool day at the park!
Was I dressed appropriately? No. Was I late? Yes.
But it was great anyway!
Context: My city, Fortaleza, is cut through by a river surrounded by forest. One part is open to the public, with a trail and a seating area, while the other part is closed off. The woods are dense and surrounded by mangroves, so not every spot is safe.
We arrived around 3 PM and went to the trail. The path was muddy because it had rained the night before. At one point, there was so much water that little fish were eating fruit that had fallen into the puddles.
We didn’t see a lot of birds, but I actually saw one of the birds from here, the blue one at the bottom, the Socozinho, we even remembered its call!
Another type of bird we saw was the egret. There are many of them in the river, and I always see them when I cross the bridge.
When we arrived at the park, we saw a lot of people with their phones out, so we figured a Pokémon Go event was going on. I even downloaded the game again and caught a few Pokémon.
I should add, that I think I saw a ghost(?)
More of an apparition than anything else. It was a man dressed in black whom I caught out of the corner of my eye, sort of in the middle of the trees, walking calmly as if it weren't dense woods. And when I looked, there was no one there.
One thing I noticed was the lack of insects. Usually, there are tons of mosquitoes there. But not even those. I didn't see any spiders (I know they aren't insects), butterflies, or anything like that. I did see dragonflies, though, there were loads of them.
There were lots of small fish, which surprised me given the reputation of the Cocó (everyone knows the river is kinda unsanitary). Another thing there were plenty of were soins/saguÃs(like the little monkeys in the movie Rio), at one point, several of them came quite close to people, and I snapped a few photos.
I have to say that on this first hike of mine, I found exactly what I expected: runners, lovey-dovey (and annoying) couples, and birdwatchers (with that stereotypical know-it-all air).
By the time we finished the trail, the park was already closing, so we spread a towel on the ground, had a picnic, and chatted.
I had a great time with my friend (let's call her T), and I need to thank her for some of the photos I'm posting here.
T, if you're reading this, thank you <3
I'm going to see about testing Moments, I tried Pixelfeed and didn't like it very much.
Thanks for reading!
