I watched Project Hail Mary

Well, well, well, well
Look, who stopped being lazy and went to the theaters! Yes, me!
Me and my sister, actually. I told her I was going to watch a "new" movie, and the price was awesome, so she decided to come too. Watch movies with her it’s always an experience since she cries very easily. I would look to my side, and she would be in tears for no reason.
She went in complete darkness while I knew some things. For instance, I knew about Rocky. A bunch of artists I follow are doing fan art of the film, it was what got me curious. I was a little confused why he had not appeared until ½ or ⅔ of the film. When he appeared, my sister got really scared and held her seat tightly, her reaction was very funny.
Another thing I really liked was Eva Stratt, a female character with personality, who looks like a normal woman, capable, competent, well written, morally gray, and NOT A ROMANTIC INTEREST! The fact that it was not shown or mentioned that either of them was in love with the other made me really happy. Women can be of great importance for the plot not being a love interest and also being well written. What a shock!
Well, anyway, I love her. I forgive her sins.
And about the doctor. He’s a little pathetic, a bit silly, but it’s fine, It’s how I like them. Ryan Gosling's performance was really good, the character is so human, so likeable. He thinks so little of himself to, in the end, save Earth and Erid, Eva was right to trust him.
The movie is one of those you watch, and it changes your life. It’s all so beautiful and real, I was mesmerized, especially in the scene where Dr. Grace is outside in space. Artemis II pictures were revealed not long ago too, now I’m feeling the same fascination with the stars I had as a child.
Also, fun fact! In Brasil the title “Project Hail Mary” was changed to “O Devorador de Estrelas” (The Star Eater). What is funny to me, the focus is not the mission, but the threat itself. It sounds really ominous, I really liked it!
Well, that is it. I watched it yesterday, but I was so tired I just sleep after.
