I went out and had a nice day 📸

I’m exhausted right now, but I had such a good day that I want to share.

Today (09/05) my friend’s college had a little “environment fair” with information, talks, and some little games, we had a lot of fun with them. They were about recycling, energy cycles, dengue prevention, and more.

My favorite one was about regional birds. We had to choose the birds we knew, then the guy would play an audio, and we had to guess which bird was singing. He even spent extra time showing the sounds of other local birds and recommending places for us to watch birds.

After the game we could choose a sapling. They had tomato, okra, guava, aloe vera, and other fruits and ornamental trees. I decided to take a Yellow Ypê, a very beautiful native species. I asked a thousand questions, and I'm excited for my ypê to blossom in two years. Funnily, like someone giving a big dog, the man distributing the saplings asked if I had enough space for it to grow at home.

There were other things happening. Sadly we couldn’t go to the violin presentation or postcard workshop (they didn’t have signs, and we couldn’t find them). But we spend some time looking at a stand selling vinyls. We also looked at other sellers that had very cute shirts and handmade jewelry.

In the end we started to enter random rooms and find the Noble Room, a place created in the university’s founding. With gold-plated, century-old, imported furniture, the entire room had warm light, giving the impression the room was golden.

After walking the entire morning we’re very tired and hungry. So we went to my friend’s house nearby. Her mom had made a delicious stroganoff and I ate till I was full. After that we went to her room and she put on some vinyls while we planed our next outing. The plan is: we (me, my friend and another friend) will do collages, post-card and letter to one another at my house.
