Diel's daydreams

Thinking like AI

This is a less polished post, I usually spend some time on my ideas. But this came to me when I was half asleep, not very conscious. So I will not give it much thought, so forgive any typos or weird wording.

So, I was not very awake but not necessarily sleeping. In a state where things were happening in the background of my mind but I wasn't paying attention. Something was being told to me, a narrator whispering in my ears. Then I was hit with a sudden clarity. It sounded like AI?

More like it had the structure of an AI text. It used sentences like "it wasn't just (…), it was (…)" and other things. I can't point them out properly, but hating on AI writing talks about some of them.

What intrigues me is the fact I don't consume AI writing, not like it's always obvious. I probably read something at least AI-assisted and didn't notice. But my half dream sounded oddly like the stories my mom watches on YouTube, the kind where artificial intelligence is used in the script, in the voice, and in the background/thumbnail.

Maybe was it? She literally bought her first earphone yesterday, I don't know what old people have against keeping what they are hearing to themselves, but it makes taking public transportation awful. She liked to hear those stories while cooking or doing dishes, and I would have to help her or do something in the kitchen, and now I dream with AI voices in my head. How nice.
